MEET YOUR AWESOME MAKER COUNCIL!
With the help of external partners & reviewers, we have selected the final 12 members of the inaugural Maker Council.
The Maker Council is a key piece of Made By’s development strategy—as Little Bird ramps down our role after 14 months of research & strategy, we are establishing infrastructure that facilitates the maker community taking the reins and charging forward.
The Maker Council will interview & select a leader for the Made By Collaborative, work to increase visibility & awareness around locally-made products, and provide insight and feedback for entrepreneurs developing products & services for makers. In addition, the Made By team will facilitate a series of sessions to support the Maker Council in identifying key areas for action—meaning, beyond the initiatives in the 3 year plan, the Maker Council will play a HUGE role in driving change to push the maker movement forward here in Shelby County.
